Darren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.

    Vice President, Global Investment Research, Goldman Sachs

A twenty-year veteran of Goldman Sachs, Derek Bingham is co-head of GS SUSTAIN, a global equity research product focused on links between ESG and investment performance. Since 2011, Derek has helped to spearhead the evolution of GS Research’s ESG analysis including authorship of “Why ESG Matters” in 2011, “The PM’s Guide to the ESG Revolution” in 2017, and “Investing in the Sustainable Development Goals” in 2021. Prior to his role in GS SUSTAIN, he was a lead analyst covering the Software industry and co-author of the firm’s Tech Strategy Research, after spending two years as a member of Goldman’s Tech Investment Banking group in Silicon Valley. He holds an M.B.A. and Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University and a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University.
