In 2025, there will be 3 Regional Conferences.

All Regional Conferences will take place online. Each Conference would be live streamed at 2 sessions over 2 days.
Duration of the conferences: 60 min
Question period: 15 min

Regional conferences


Participation in the Regional Conferences is FREE OF CHARGE for participants, thanks to unrestricted educational grants for 2025 from the pharmaceutical companies Amgen Canada and Novo Nordisk Canada.

After receiving the invitation by email to participate in a Regional Conference, simply click on the link in the message to access the registration website.

Once the registration process is finalized, a link for viewing the Regional Conference will be sent to participants, via the email address entered at the time of registration.

The day before the event, a reminder will also be sent to the participant.

Simultaneous translation will be available (English to French or French to English) for all conferences.

Each conference will be followed by a question or comment period of at least 15 minutes. Questions or comments may be formulated DURING or AFTER the conference by entering them in the Question Box provided. Participants will not be able to verbally ask questions or make comments during these conferences verbally.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a Recognized Professional Development Activity (Category A) as defined by the Collège des médecins du Québec. This activity was approved by the direction de Développement professionnel continu (DDPC) of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec.
You may claim a maximum of 1,25 Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) / Recognized Professional Development Activity (Category A) hour. Participants must claim a number of hours consistent with their attendance.



About Fondation D.E.V.E.N.I.R.


Fondation D.E.V.E.N.I.R. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to optimize the skills and behaviour of healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, nurses and dieticians) providing care to patients with chronic kidney disease.

Each year, Fondation D.E.V.E.N.I.R. organizes 3 Regional Conferences, a multidisciplinary symposium (Colloque D.E.V.E.N.I.R.) as well as an educational nephrology forum (Forum Éducationnel en Néphrologie) (F.E.N.) specifically for nephrologists and future nephrologists.

In addition, Fondation D.E.V.E.N.I.R. hosts more than 40 educational videos for all healthcare professionals via its website www.prevenirdevenir.com, with new videos added every year.

All the educational activities are organized in collaboration with the Société Québécoise de Néphrologie, as Fondation D.E.V.E.N.I.R. is a member of the Association des néphrologues du Québec (ANQ) as well as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Needs Assessment Committee (Comité d’Évaluation et d’Intégration des Besoins éducationnels en DPC de l’ANQ) (CÉIBA)

By viewing conferences available on the website www.prevenirdevenir.com, participants can obtain level 2 credits (self-directed learning section), for their educational portfolio.
